They have been involved in the making of clocks and the servicing of them since 1955.
The clocks that Clockfix specialises in are varied – grandfather clocks, mantel clocks, cuckoo clocks, wall clocks, bracket clocks, French clocks as well as others.
- Ben Munro, with a masters diploma in clockmaking, is a qualified watchmaker
- he is is a mechanical control engineer and this has assisted him in working with the mechanisms of clocks and he made a lot of clock spares
- his clock shop is filled with a variety of interesting looking clocks
- he has succssfully repaired clocks like the Alberton Dutch Reformed Church Clock, the old Bloemfontein Post Office, the Potchefstroom City Hall Clock and the Alberton Dutch Reformed Church’s clock
- he has also converted manual winding clocks to electrical ones
- clockmaking is Ben’s passion
